These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and Anderson Ranches LLC and Kalapooia Valley Grass Fed Processing LLC (Kalapooia Grass Fed Processing LLC),(collectively, the “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of this website, online store, products, and services, including the purchase, pickup, shipment, delivery, wholesale distribution, resale, or consumption of meat and meat-related products.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not use this website or purchase our products.

1. EXPANDED DEFINITION OF COMPANY & COVERED ENTITIES

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the term “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our” shall be interpreted broadly and includes, without limitation:

• Anderson Ranches LLC

• Kalapooia Grass Fed Processing LLC

• Any parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, or related entities

• Any owners, members, managers, officers, directors, employees

• Any agents, contractors, processors, distributors, transporters, fulfillment partners

• Any successors, assigns, or entities operating under common ownership or control

 

All references to the “Company” throughout these Terms apply collectively and individually to each of the above entities.

Nothing herein shall be construed to create a partnership, joint venture, agency, or guarantor relationship between any covered entities beyond what is expressly required by law.

2. ELIGIBILITY, AGE REQUIREMENTS & LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY

You must be 18 years of age or older to place an order. By purchasing from us, you affirm that:

• You are legally permitted to purchase meat products

• You are legally permitted to receive food shipments

• You understand and accept the risks associated with perishable animal products

You are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to laws governing food handling, resale, labeling, storage, transportation, and service.

3. USDA COMPLIANCE & REGULATORY STATUS

​

All meat products sold by the Company are processed in accordance with applicable United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations and Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) requirements.

USDA Inspection & Processing

• Products are processed at USDA-inspected facilities, unless explicitly disclosed otherwise

• Processing, handling, and packaging comply with applicable federal and Oregon regulations

• Products intended for wholesale or resale are processed in compliance with USDA and ODA requirements

Processing & Facility Relationships

​

Certain products offered for sale through this website may be:

• Raised, marketed, or sold by Anderson Ranches LLC

• Processed, cut, packaged, or handled by Kalapooia Grass Fed Processing LLC

• Transported, stored, or distributed by affiliated or contracted entities

​

Each entity operates within its respective regulatory scope and responsibility. Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted to merge or transfer regulatory responsibility between entities beyond what is required by law.

Once products leave the custody of the applicable entity—whether by pickup, shipment, or delivery—all responsibility transfers to the purchaser.

4. PERISHABLE FOOD & FOOD SAFETY NOTICE (CRITICAL)

​

All products sold by the Company are PERISHABLE MEAT PRODUCTS.

​

IMPORTANT FOOD SAFETY WARNING

​

Improper handling of meat may result in serious illness, permanent injury, or death.

​

By purchasing from us, you acknowledge that:

• Meat products require strict temperature control

• Refrigeration and freezing are time-sensitive

• Spoilage may occur rapidly if mishandled

The Company is not responsible for illness, injury, allergic reaction, or death caused by:

• Improper refrigeration or freezing

• Delayed pickup

• Missed delivery

• Improper thawing

• Improper cooking

• Cross-contamination

• Negligence by the customer or third parties

5. ORDERING, INVENTORY & PAYMENT TERMS

​

All orders are subject to availability, inventory limits, verification, and fraud screening.

We reserve the right to:

• Refuse or cancel orders

• Correct pricing or listing errors

• Substitute comparable products where applicable

​

All payments must be made in full prior to fulfillment.

​

6. LOCAL PICKUP TERMS

​

Customers selecting local pickup agree to the following:

• Pickup windows are strictly enforced

• Failure to arrive within the scheduled window may result in spoilage

• Products not picked up on time may be discarded without refund

TRANSFER OF LIABILITY

​

Once products are released to the customer, all risk transfers immediately, including responsibility for temperature control and food safety.

7. SHIPPING OF PERISHABLE GOODS

​

SHIPPING METHODS

​

Products are shipped using insulated packaging and refrigerants (gel packs or dry ice where applicable). Refrigeration materials are temporary and effectiveness may vary.

CUSTOMER ACKNOWLEDGMENT

​

By ordering shipped products, you acknowledge that:

• Carrier delays may occur

• Weather conditions may impact delivery

• Products may arrive thawed or partially thawed

• You are responsible for immediate retrieval upon delivery

The Company is not liable for:

• Carrier delays

• Weather disruptions

• Theft after delivery

• Incorrect shipping information

• Packages left unattended

​

8. LIMITED COMPANY-OPERATED DELIVERY

​

In rare cases, the Company may deliver orders directly for nearby customers, wholesale buyers, or special arrangements.

​

All responsibility transfers to the purchaser at the time of delivery. No temperature or shelf-life guarantees are provided beyond the point of handoff.

9. WHOLESALE & COMMERCIAL PURCHASES

​

Wholesale and commercial purchasers acknowledge that:

• Products may pass through multiple covered entities

• Compliance with all applicable food safety, labeling, storage, and service regulations is the purchaser’s responsibility

• The Company does not guarantee compliance beyond its custody

​

Wholesale purchasers agree to indemnify and hold harmless all covered entities from claims arising from resale, preparation, or service.

10. NO RETURNS & LIMITED REFUNDS

​

Due to the perishable nature of meat:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

 

Refunds or replacements may be issued only at the Company’s sole discretion and require:

• Notification within 24 hours

• Photographic evidence

• Proof of fulfillment or shipping error

11. ALLERGEN, DIETARY & CROSS-CONTAMINATION NOTICE

​

Facilities may process multiple animal species. Cross-contamination is possible.

​

The Company does not guarantee allergen-free products or dietary suitability unless explicitly stated.

​

12. NO MEDICAL OR NUTRITIONAL ADVICE

​

All content is provided for general informational purposes only and is not medical or nutritional advice.

​

13. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

​

You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks, including but not limited to foodborne illness, allergic reactions, injury, or death, arising from purchase, handling, preparation, or consumption of products.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (MAXIMUM PROTECTION)

​

To the fullest extent permitted by law, none of the covered entities shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Total liability, if any, shall never exceed the amount paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

​

No Joint Liability Beyond Lawful Requirement.

​

No covered entity shall be liable for the acts or omissions of another covered entity unless expressly required by law.

15. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Anderson Ranches LLC, Kalapooia Grass Fed Processing LLC, and all affiliates, owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any claims arising from:

• Handling or consumption of products

• Resale or service

• Violation of law

• Breach of these Terms

16. FORCE MAJEURE

The Company is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including weather, disasters, carrier failures, labor shortages, or government action.

17. WEBSITE CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All website content is owned by the Company and may not be reproduced without permission.

18. TERMINATION OF SERVICE

The Company reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or restrict access at its sole discretion.

19. GOVERNING LAW & VENUE

​
